As a cherished member of our community and a dedicated educator at Conway Junior High School, Lindsey's passion for learning and commitment to service illuminate the lives of those around her. Recently, Conway Junior High School took the initiative to spotlight Lindsey's remarkable achievements, and we are honored to share their publication, celebrating Lindsey's contributions and the profound impact she has made within our school and beyond. Please read CJHS's words below, as they celebrate Lindsey's contributions and the profound impact she has made within our school and beyond: Lindsey (McDaniel) Swanigan was born in Conway, AR, in 1993. She is the daughter of Sam and Sharon McDaniel and graduated from Morrilton High School in 2011. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University in 2015 in Biology. Following graduation, she pursued a career in Pathology. She began her teaching career at the Future School of Fort Smith after marrying her husband, Deondra Swanigan in 2018. She and her husband moved back to Central Arkansas in 2020, and she began teaching at Graduate Arkansas in Little Rock, AR. In 2021, they moved to Conway, AR, and she began teaching math at Conway Junior High in 2022. During this time, she obtained a master's degree in teaching from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2022. This same year, she founded Swan Academics, an educational consulting and tutoring business. She is also a minister of music at New Generation Church here in Conway and has been playing the piano for 13 years. She and her husband currently reside in Conway, AR, and they have been married for 5 years. Lindsey is currently in pursuit of becoming Dr. Lindsey Swanigan, a change leadership expert with a Ph.D. in Equity and Inclusion K-12 Education at the University of Central Arkansas. Alongside being a devoted wife, minister of music, makeup artist, and teacher, she is an educator with six years of experience and the founder of Swan Academics, driven by compassion, selflessness, and boldness. Her journey in education has made a significant impact on students' lives, fostering an environment where learning thrives. Her innovative teaching methods and dedication have empowered students to overcome challenges and achieve academic excellence. Her passion for breaking barriers in education stems from the belief that every student deserves equal opportunities. Through personalized guidance and encouragement, she challenges traditional norms, encouraging students to explore their full potential. Witnessing their transformations brings her immense joy, fueling her commitment to innovate and adapt continually. Her legacy lies in inspiring others to believe in the power of education. With compassion, selflessness, and boldness, she shapes positive, supportive learning environments, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of her students and the communities she serves.

Laurinda Rainey

Championing Diversity and Innovation children, was encouraged by her parents to carve her own path. Growing up in an entrepreneurial environment, she developed a keen interest in numbers, storytelling, and connecting with people. This diverse blend of skills led her to a successful career in marketing, where she thrived in roles that focused on consumer insights. In her leadership role at JPMorgan Chase as the General Manager of Chase’s United Airlines co-brand card portfolios, Laurinda deftly balances analytical decision-making with engaging marketing campaigns. Her choices directly impact customers' financial health by empowering them with knowledge on maximizing card benefits. She also champions diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change within and beyond the finance industry. One of her proud initiatives includes supporting the United Aviate Academy, aiming to create more opportunities for underrepresented groups in aviation. Through this program, she not only contributes to the development of aspiring aviators but also champions diversity in a field and helps open new career paths.
