In Loving Memory of Mr. Charles Edward Canady

Charles Edward Canady of Morrilton, Arkansas transitioned from this life on Sunday February 2, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, AR. He was born August 8, 1951, in Cleveland, Arkansas to the late L.C and Modiller Canady. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Moore’s Chapel A.M.E Zion Church, where he remained a member until his health began to fail. He was employed for many years with Jacuzzi Bros, Little Rock AR early in his adult career. Later in his career, he worked for many more years for Carrier in Conway, AR, where he retired. Charles was preceded in death by his parents L.C and Modiller Canady, and one brother Leo Rainey.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his children Tammy (Lorne) McKey of Morrilton; Lisa Canady of Royse City, TX; Jennifer (Courtney) Brooks of Little Rock; and Keith Canady of Morrilton. Grandchildren: Montel McKey, LaToya Hawkins, Jade Brown, Alyse McKey, Alaysia (Keyshaun) Allen, Jasmine Brooks, Allyson Smith, CJ Brooks, Jayla Smith, and Jalen Canady.

Great Grandchildren: Kaylee Lanigan, Lauryn Lanigan, Hendrix Cox

Siblings: Mary Lee (Eddie) Sanders of Kansas City, MO; Irma (Calvin) Carter of Little Rock:, Sherry Thomas of Kansas City, MO; Lois Canady of Grandview, MO; Precilla Williams of Kansas City, MO; Clara (Ray) Garlington of Morrilton; Mary (Jeff) Newsome of Morrilton; Joe (Marsha) Canady of Morrilton; Tracy (Tracey) Canady of Morrilton, god-sister Brenda Hobbs of Conway, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
